We play a range of traditional Irish, Scottish, English and American dance tunes (jigs, reels, polkas etc) - hear our sound and see us in action in the Gallery.
We are available as a 3 piece band (caller/whistle, tenor banjo/mandolin, guitar) or as a 4 piece with additional fiddle. If there is another traditional instrument you would like in the band, such as bodhran, do ask - this is usually possible via our contacts with other local musicians.
We use modern, well-maintained PA equipment which is checked for electrical safety (including PAT test) and we hold Public Liability Insurance - venues often expect both these requirements of the band you engage.
ELEANOR - CALLER/WHISTLE
MIKE - BANJO/MANDOLIN
Eleanor & Mike form the core of the band, being married to each other and sharing the administration and transportation of our PA equipment. Mike has been involved in the Bristol/Bath Irish music scene for over 30 years. Eleanor has been calling and playing whistle in Jiggerty for over 15 years.
